Simulcast

Stream to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and LinkedIn from one ingest.

Overview

What It Is

Simulcast lets you broadcast your live stream to multiple platforms from a single encoder. Instead of managing separate ingests for each platform, you send one stream to Qencode and we distribute it to all destinations simultaneously. This is essential for broadcasters, educators, and creators who want maximum reach without multiplying their technical complexity.

Process

How It Works

  1. Configure your destinations

Specify which platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, LinkedIn) and accounts you want to broadcast to.

  2. Send one stream

Use a single RTMP ingest URL to push your live content to Qencode.

  3. Route automatically

Qencode distributes your stream to each destination in real-time with synchronized timing.

  4. Monitor all streams

Track the health and status of every simultaneous broadcast from one dashboard.

Request Example

Simulcast a single RTMP ingest to YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook simultaneously.

curl -X POST 'https://api-live.qencode.com/v1/live-streams/$STREAM_ID/simulcast-targets'
-H 'Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN'
